This is Red Flight, a painting I did earlier this year. I wanted to try gouache on a board with some texture. I used light molding paste and gesso to create some yummy texture underneath the gouache. I had a lot of fun working this painting and learning more about gouache.

DeleteThis is beautiful...too many time a painting like this gets cluttery looking but with yours each color stands on it's own yet blends with it's surrounding colors...I love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Darlene. In creating this piece, I had to do a lot of editing of the colors. I toned it down to a quiet riot.
